The Strainer has a stainless steel casing surrounding and vertical perforated cylinder through which the liquid passes.

Particles suspended in the liquid are retained within the cylinder and forced downwards by the rotating brushes which are mounted on a central shaft. The shaft is driven by a gear motor mounted on top of the unit. The particles concentration or sludge is removed from the cone at the lower end. The cone can be easily opened for inspection and to provide access to the brushes. There is flushing connection on the bottom cone.
