A hydro cyclone is a centrifugal separating system which remains static during operation. The cyclone consists of two main sections: cylindrical and conical. The required inlet force is roduced via an external feed pressure, which because of its special designed top cylinder create a vortex. The separated coarse particle/sand move by gravity down toward the conical section (apex). The lighter and relatively free from sand liquids escape through the overflow pipe (vortex finder). The process runs continuously

By means of pneumatic actuator and automatic discharge valve an interrupted operation with pre-selected interval can be guaranteed.controlled valve in the feed tank.
